Privacy Policy

What we collect when you use this site or write to us, why, and what you can ask of us. Last updated September 2026.

Who we are

Teconya is a research and engineering studio working from Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This policy covers this website and the messages you send us. It does not cover the platforms we build for clients, which carry their own policies. Questions go to hello@teconya.com.

What we collect

  • Messages you send us. When you email us, we keep the message, your address and anything you include, so that we can reply and, if it becomes a project, run it.
  • Server logs. Our hosting records the IP address, browser, pages requested and time of each visit. We use these to keep the site running and to spot abuse. They are deleted after thirty days.
  • Nothing else. The site has no accounts, no forms that store data, and no analytics or advertising trackers. The only cookie it sets is described in the cookie policy.

Why we use it

We process this data because we have a legitimate interest in running a working, secure website and in answering the people who write to us; and, where a conversation becomes an engagement, because it is necessary to perform that contract.

Who sees it

Our hosting provider processes the server logs on our behalf. We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it with anyone else unless the law requires it. Data is held in Saudi Arabia, and with our hosting provider in the region it serves; where it leaves the Kingdom, we rely on the safeguards the Personal Data Protection Law requires.

How long we keep it

Server logs, thirty days. Correspondence, for as long as the conversation or engagement it belongs to is live, and for six years afterwards where a contract was formed.

Your rights

Under the Saudi Personal Data Protection Law you can ask us what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, object to how we use it, or ask for a copy. Write to hello@teconya.com and we will answer within a month. You can also complain to the Saudi Data & AI Authority.

Changes

When this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. Substantive changes are noted here for three months.
